Elena Cherry

SMSF Specialist Accountant of the Year (Finalist) – Australian Accounting Awards 2024.

Elena joined Future Assist in June 2018 as the Head of the SMSF Audit division, later changing her focus to accounting and accepting a position as the SMSF Specialist with the Future Assist Accounting team.

With over 19 years of experience in the SMSF industry, including both audit and accounting, Elena brings a wealth of superannuation knowledge and a unique perspective that enables her to assist clients with their technical and compliance issues.

In her free time, Elena enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.

Elena holds the following professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Finance from Bond University
• Master of Accounting from Bond University
• Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
• SMSF Specialist Auditor (SSAud®)
